Dr. Narjust Duma
Dr. Narjust Duma is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health; she practices as a thoracic oncologist at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. Dr. Duma completed her hematology-medical oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in 2019, where she was the chief fellow from 2018-2019.
Her research focuses on women and minorities with thoracic malignancies, the inclusion of understudied groups in clinical trials and gender equity and balance in medicine. She is also one of the co-founders of the #LatinasInMedicine online community now composed of over 2000 members.
Their goals include amplify, connect and support Latinas in all health sciences.
