I’m too busy

We created this program for busy women doctors and therefore it is time-efficient. Sis, if you can’t find 2 hours for yourself out of 168 per week, then that’s a sign you truly need what we are going to teach you in this program. Because we teach you to be more efficient and intentional with your time, this program will help you create time. Also, weekly lessons are about 20-45 minutes long and prerecorded. You can watch them at a time convenient for you and can also be sped up. Weekly private coaching sessions are 30 minutes and at a time that works for your schedule including evenings or weekends. Group sessions are just 1 hour per week and fly by. Past participants love the group coaching best! 

Can I use CME funds for this?

Yes! You can earn up 36 hours of Category 1 CME for completing the program plus an additional 30+ hours of CME through our Women in White Coats Doctors Lounge. That’s over 66 hours of CME! Quite honestly, we can’t think of a better use of your CME funds than our program. 

Now’s not the right time

Asking for help is a sign of weakness

Does coaching really work?

We’ve shared our outcomes above and know our program works. AND we have Randomized Controlled Trials to show that coaching works to help get physicians out of burnout. Dr. Tait Shanafelt, the guru of physician wellness, co-authored a study published in JAMA in2019. It was a randomized controlled study where they took 88 primary care physicians experiencing burnout and randomly assigned them to be either in the control or intervention group. For the intervention group they gave them just 6 coaching sessions with a professional life coach and compared pre and post surveys. The results were impressive. Those in the intervention group (the group that received coaching) had a nearly 20% decrease in high emotional exhaustion and 17% decrease in overall burnout. Also, quality of life and resilience scores improved in this group, too, showing that professional life coaching is an effective way to reduce emotional exhaustion and overall burnout as well as improve quality of life and resilience for physicians. Meanwhile the control group, who received no coaching, had an increase of nearly 10% in emotional exhaustion and 5% increase in Burnout. What this means is that coaching works to move the needle on burnout for physicians and that there is a cost to doing nothing about it, namely that burnout spirals and gets worse if you wait. 

This may not work for me

Of course it will work for you (as it has for so many other women physicians just like you) if you show up and do what is asked of you. Did you think “it won’t work for me” when you enrolled in medical school? No, you knew if you showed up, did the work and what was asked of you, you would become a doctor. But trust me, this will be a cake walk and a lot of fun, too! You will feel seen, heard and understood like never before.

Group coaching sessions will happen on a weekday evening (Mon-Thurs) and will be LIVE. We will do our best to accommodate schedule requests. We encourage you to attend these LIVE so that you can get the most out of the group coaching sessions and also have an opportunity to be coached. They will be recorded and recordings will be available for a limited time only to participants in that group. Once you enroll in the program, you will get access to a scheduling link to book your weekly private 30 minute coaching sessions at a time that works for your schedule.

How long do I have access to the program?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this program for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own. You will have until April of 2023 to earn CME.
