Petrina Craine hails from Memphis, TN. She diligently completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University in Durham, NC. She fervently pursued her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. After finishing her emergency medicine residency at Alameda County Medical Center (Highland Hospital) in Oakland, CA, she crossed the coast to continue to practice emergency medicine in the great state of New York. Her interests include advocating for underserved communities, promoting diversity and inclusion, and creating health media as a physician journalist. She also loves to dance, craft, and sing (albeit off-tune)!
