Megan L. Oltmann, DPM
PodiatryBiography
Dr. Megan L. Oltmann is a foot and ankle surgeon in the state of Ohio. She was born and raised in Hubbard, OH, a suburb of Youngstown. She grew up dancing competitively and playing volleyball. Dr. Oltmann attended The Ohio State University, earning her undergraduate degree in biology and a minor in dance. Dr. Oltmann attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Mercy Health.
Dr. Oltmann is co-owner of Foot and Ankle Associates of Cleveland. She is currently surgical teaching faculty for University Hospitals Podiatric Residency Program as well as adjunct faculty at Kent State. Dr. Oltmann operates out of University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, University Hospitals Bedford Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital where she is part of the trauma call team.
Dr. Oltmann has surgical interests in foot and ankle surgery including, sports injury management with an emphasis on dancers, fracture management, lower extremity trauma, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, as well as bunion and hammertoe surgery. Dr. Oltmann also does extensive work in wound care and limb salvage setting with advanced training in micro nerve surgery.
In her free time Dr. Oltmann enjoys a variety of activities. She continues to play volleyball, both indoor and sand. She enjoys golfing, yoga, swimming, running, skiing, outdoor biking, and her Peloton. She and her husband have two Golden Retrievers, Braxton and Oliver. You’ll often find them on the shores of Lake Erie or at the dog park. She also enjoys traveling back to the Youngstown area where much of her family and friends reside.
