Latasha Bogues, MD
PediatricianBiography
Dr. Latasha Bogues is a board-certified pediatrician. She is originally from Alabama and grew up in the Huntsville, Alabama area. She completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She earned her medical degree and completed residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Bogues is a general pediatrician who enjoys the intricacies of caring for patients from birth through adolescence. She splits her clinical time between inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings. As an assistant professor, she is involved in teaching medical students and resident physicians. Her areas of special interest are medical education and asthma/allergy management. Recent events in the medical field and in her family have caused her to also have a special interest in infant and maternal morbidity and mortality.
Dr. Bogues is known to be an advocate for her patients and colleagues. She enjoys being able to help parents to become comfortable and confident as they navigate through parenthood because when this happens, families can flourish. She has a laid-back, calm approach to parenting, health, and life in general. She lives in the Atlanta area where she likes spending time with friends and family, especially her young son who tends to keep things lively.
