Kristin Yates, DO
Obstetrics & GynecologyBiography
Dr. Kristin Yates is a board certified Ob/Gyn practicing in New Hampshire. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY at Buffalo. Her medical school training was at the A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and then returned to her home state of New Hampshire to join a private practice.
Dr. Yates enjoys full scope Ob/Gyn because it offers both variety and specialized knowledge. She loves providing a nonjudgemental and safe space for her patients in all phases of life. She enjoys sharing her passion for Ob/Gyn with medical students and residents and showing other women that it is possible to enjoy a full time career in Ob/Gyn.
Outside of medicine, she hosts a podcast called “Imposter to Unstoppable”, which shines a light on the prevalence of Imposter Syndrome in medicine. She is also a life coach for women physicians who are being held back by Imposter Syndrome. She is passionate about sharing her message, with her articles being featured on KevinMD, The DO, and Women in White Coats.
Dr. Yates lives with her husband, Patrick, and her 3 young daughters: Nora, Finley and JJ. She loves to cook, hike, ride her Peloton and sit by the fire.
