Peaesha L Houston DO, MSFamily Medicine
A native of Louisiana, Dr. Peaesha Houston works as a family medicine and urgent care physician serving her surrounding community. She received her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in biology pre-medicine with a minor in chemistry and a master’s degree in biology from Georgia State University. She went on to earn a doctorate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia campus. After medical school, Dr. Houston completed residency in family medicine where she served as chief resident at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA. She enjoys spending time with her family, being a mommy, and traveling.
Dr. Houston also enjoys volunteering with different organizations that support causes that are close to her heart such as adult and childhood hunger and outreach programs that aid individuals and families with financial adversities. She is a co-author in “The Chronicles of Women in White Coats”.
