Yulia Johnson DOFamily Medicine
Yulia Johnson, DO, was born in Ukraine (former Soviet Union), where she received a degree in classical piano. She immigrated to the United States in 1992 to Denver, Colorado.
She graduated Metro State College of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry and then moved to Iowa in 2001 to attend Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery where she graduated in 2005. She completed family residency at the Mercy Mayo program in Des Moines, Iowa, and was elected chief resident her senior year.
Dr. Johnson has held the job of medical director for a hospice and is an adjunct faculty at Des University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also works at The Iowa Clinic as a family medicine physician in a rural community and lives in Des Moines, Iowa. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends. She is a co-author in “The Chronicles of Women in White Coats”.
